It seems the spotting stopped. It only happened briefly Friday night and it wasn’t too bad at all, so I’m not going to worry, but I am taking it as a sign to slow down a bit. I worked out with my neighbor Thursday morning and probably over did it a bit! I guess I’m just determined to make sure my body is as strong as possible before I give birth to this baby! THANK YOU for all of your prayers during this time! It’s comforting to know that there are people who care enough to pray for me during a time of concern!
As far as the nausea goes, I’ve discovered that smoothies actually help me feel better in the mornings. I mix orange juice, strawberries, bananas, and yogurt in the blender and mmmmmmmmmm! It calms my tummy and eases the nausea a bit. Madison seems to like it too. She drank the majority of my smoothie this morning. (Stinker!)
Today Scott and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary. It’s kind of funny how I envisioned we’d spend this day 10 years ago. I always hoped for a cruise with all our friends and family where they’d witness us renew our vows to one another at sunset with all of our beautiful children dressed up and standing by our side. I never thought about where the money would come from for such an ordeal, but hey, a girl can dream, right?
But today? Today we were just thrilled to be able to get away from the kids! We enjoyed a typical date night afternoon (hey, I’m pregnant, I didn’t want to be too tired!) – dinner and a movie. Something we haven’t done in ages!
And my dream with the romantic cruise and exchanging the vows has changed. Perhaps for our 20th I’ll be lucky enough to simply be surrounded by my friends and family in our home – people who will be thrilled to celebrate the special event with us. That would be a dream come true. But tonight I’m satisfied to be in a healthy marriage with a man who loves me and spoils me rotten. (And we got away from the kids for 5 whole hours!)
Not that he could leave me. He couldn’t afford the child support with all these kids! (Hey, I know how to trap a man!) MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Just kidding.
He really does love me!
And tomorrow night, we celebrate another 10 year anniversary. You know which one I’m talking about, right, Honey? 😉
Congrats! 10 years is a big deal. I know the dream. I always dream of us in Hawaii or Paris. Max is crying, my dreaming has been interupted by real life!
congratulations! sounds like a wonderful 10 years with a happy lifetime to look forward to. i’m glad to hear that you aren’t spotting any longer!
Happy anniversary!
We thought of a renewal of vows for our 10th anniversary also, but you know it’s funny how things change !
Happy Anniversary ! That’s great you got to have some time alone together !
Well, keep us updated on the spotting. I know how scary that can be. But it sounds like all is well, right?
We will celebrate 5 years next month. I can’t believe it. I like the whole renewing of vows thing. I honestly think that’s a girl think though. Do you think any man ever said “Hey honey, you want to renew our vows?”
I say that b/c I recently wanted to do the same. And he was like, “okay, sure.” We are just way more sentimental than they are.
Anyhow, congrats on 10 years!
Oh I meant to tell you that I tired to comment a few posts ago, and I was blocked for some reason? But it seems like maybe that was just a fluke…that, or you are no longer mad at me..lol
Is the other one your sexiversary? hehe
Glad you’re feeling better.
Happy Anniversary!!
Glad you are doing well.
Blessings.
u okay? Update please.
Hey, that sounds like a date for your 20th anniversary! Things are going to be so much different then. You’ll still have lots of kids in the house, but they’ll be so grown up!
I just can’t believe it’s been 10 years. Seems like yesterday that you and I pulled up to that store with Glenn and sent him inside to make a purchase. OMG, that is so funny thinking about that now!
I love you all!
